The Alphacool Helix Eisbecher captivates with its unique Helix Optic, including elegant aluminium caps for its upper and bottom sides. The 60mm diameter version also offers a UV cathode tube to illuminate UV-reactive water from within. The helix inside the reservoir gives off a unique effect reminiscent of a strand of DNA, making it a real eye-catcher. The base and top are made entirely of acetal, but are covered with aluminium caps for an elegant look. The aluminium caps do not come in contact with the water, of course. The installation options are considerable, with two G1/4 threads in both the bottom and top. This gives you lots of options for positioning your reservoir. The installation set is a clip bracket, made up of two clips which are fastened to the case with one screw each. The Eisbecher Helix Light just needs to be clipped on, giving you lots of flexibility in how you mount it. The Eisbecher Helix is available in multiple colour combinations. The cap, bottom, and the helix itself can all be different colours. This Eisbecher is the older brother of the DDC version. The pump is being mounted with a mounting ring that holds the pump with eight screws. You can use four LEDs that are hidden within the socke of the pump for the lighting of the plexi version. The lighting of the top is fascilitated through the lighting module. Standpipe and Bubble Down both do an excellent job in this model as well. The fastening happens through either the mountings or through the bases that are included in the delivery. There are even threads in the socket of the pump should there be a free space at the 3,5″ drive bay (pump decoupling with M4 inner thread and outer thread needed – Art. 52007).

For years now this top is already a measure. Again and again, small improvements have been made. The second major update differs both, visually and technically in a few details. The principle: On the bottom there is space for the Laing D5 or VPP655 pump and in the front or on top the inlet and outlet. For even more flexibility, the Eisdecke gets three inlets and two outlets. Another feature is the new holder to give the entire unit a stable footing and complete the overall visual image. Optional installation in 3.5 “drive bay is possible. The top can be converted by using the suplementary element, whitch is given as an accessory, to an complete reservoir which has also been revised.

Can the Eisbaer from Alphacool become even better? Absolutely! Would the Eisbaer look even more impressive with aRGB? Definitely yes!! The Eisbaer Aurora AIO still cools the CPU with the well-known and high-quality copper cooler of the Eisbaer, although the surface area has been enlarged, compared to its predecessor. Also, the pump works much more efficiently with 10% more power, with reduced noise level.

The hoses and fittings have also been completely revised and are now much smoother and more inconspicuous. Since durable TPV hose and fittings from the Enterprise Solution series are now used, safety and durability is also one of the features. For more individuality, fittings and hose can be easily replaced thanks to the G1/4 fittings. The Eisbaer Aurora, as before, can be expanded via the quick release fasteners.

The most striking feature of the Eisbaer Aurora is the addressable RGB LED lighting. Here the focus is on the Eisbaer pump and the stylish Aurora LUX Pro fans. By using a compatible mainboard or controller, colour and effects can be adjusted individually.
